As I finish my eight years as District Commissioner / District Lead Volunteer, I’ve been reflecting on the journey. It wasn’t always easy, but together we steered Rugby District through Covid, major organisational change, and a period of rebuilding. Our numbers are higher now than when I began, and while not every group made it through the transformation, the district is stronger and more sustainable for the future.
I want to express my sincere thanks to every adult volunteer who has contributed to making Rugby District the exceptional place it is. Your dedication is the backbone of everything we achieve.
A special thank you to Fred, whose support has allowed me to step into my next chapter as Campsite Warden.
