We’re incredibly proud to share some brilliant news from 5th Rugby (Newbold) Scout Group. Kirk has achieved the King’s Scout Award, the highest award a young person can earn in Scouts, and becomes the first ever recipient of the award at the 5th.

This is no small feat. The King’s Scout Award takes real determination, a spirit of adventure and the drive to keep going. It’s about trying new things, stepping up as a leader, helping others, and embracing every opportunity to grow. In short, it’s skills for life in action. Throughout his time in Scouts, Kirk has thrown himself into every challenge, from outdoor adventures to volunteering in the community.

Everyone at Rugby District Scouts sends Kirk a massive congratulations. Achieving the King’s Scout Award is something he’ll carry with him for years to come, and we’re all excited to see what he does next.

A huge well done as well to the leaders, volunteers and supporters at 5th Newbold who’ve encouraged him along the way. Achievements like this only happen thanks to brilliant volunteers who give their time, energy and enthusiasm to help young people shine.

Well done Kirk, you’ve made 5th Newbold and Rugby District incredibly proud.
