Being a part of Network
Network is the final section of Scouting for those aged 18-25. As Network is run by its members there is lots of flexibility to make the programme your own.
What does Network do?
Want to work towards your top awards? Go on an international trip? Take part in a project in your local community? Network is run by its members and has the freedom to choose its own programmes, meeting schedule and goals.
Earning Awards
As part of Network you have the ability to complete two of Scouting’s top awards, the Chief Scout’s Diamond Award and the King’s Scout Award.
Scouts Promise
As a values based movement we all make the ‘The Promise’ an oath that helps us to be our best.
Uniform and badge placement
Network members wear the adult leader shirt with an extra Network badge, learn about the uniform here.
Volunteering with Scouting
As well as taking part in Network activities, as a member of Network there are many opportunities for you to get involved in volunteering with Scouting. Whether you want to help run a section as a Leader or support in the background, there is a roll to suit everyone’s skillset and time commitments.
