Rugby District is pleased to announce the Frederick Salt will be taking over as District Lead Volunteer on the 1st of September 2026.
Fred said “I joined Scouts in 2025 as an Explorer Team Member in Stretton on Dunsmore, where my two children are also members. What started as helping out quickly grew into involvement with DofE, district support and, most recently, becoming Deputy District Lead Volunteer. Outside of Scouts, I work as an Agile Delivery Manager. My focus is on supporting volunteers, building strong teams and making it easier for people to deliver great Scouting for young people across Rugby District.”
The District would like to thank Mick Pearson for all his work as District Lead Volunteer over the past eight years and we are pleased that he will be continuing to support the District as Warden of Coton Campsite.
